The pressure tank HYDROPAN ( with bladder inside ), used for regulation or for pressure maintenance, must always be shunt connected with the distribution waterpipe.

All hydropneumatic vessels ( with bladder inside ) HYDROPAN can and must be pre-inflated.

BOOSTING - REGULATION

The pre-inflating value is equivalent to the starting pressure of the pump less 0,5 bar. For a booster regulating pressure, with several pumps. The pre-inflating value will be the lowest starting pressure of all the pumps less 0,5 bar.

PRESSURE MAINTENANCE

The pre-inflating value will be the minimum pressure to be maintened less 0,5 bar.

For the installation with high pressure, there is a maximum not to be exceeded.

The mecanical resistance of the bladder inside each HYDROPAN, limit the pre-inflating value to 7 bar for the molded models ( up to 500 liters ) and to 10 bars for the polyurethan ones ( 750 liters and more ).

FOR ANY PRE-INFLATION VALUE YOU MUST ALWAYS LOOK FOR LEAKS

Test all junctions of the «gas network» with leaks detector ( aerosol or foam with a brush ). Don't hesitate to clamp a little bit more to solve the micro leaks. A micro leak on a vessel corresponds to a loss of 1 to 2 bar in 24 hours, and this vessel is rapidly out of service in a few days. If no leak has been detected at the pre-inflating pressure, check the leaks again at the static pressure.

A micro-leak is more easily detected at 10 bar than at 2 or 3 bar.

TANK WITH LEVEL GAUGE : As the level gauge is obligatory connected to the «gas network» the juctions must be done with a particular attention.

Most of problems about loss of air are caused by micro-leaks on level gauges connections.

A non detected and not solved micro-leak, means a loss of 1 to 2 bar of pre-inflation for a 24 hours period, and quickly, a to high starting frenquency of the pump with a corresponding risk to burn its motor.
